Black Hawk Range Launch Concept video

Black Hawk Clothing was my first clothing brand, conceptualized and designed by myself and David Weare, the range sold in Young Designer Emporium stores across South Africa . We won multiple awards over 5 years including Best New Designer, Most Improved Sales and Greatest Contribution. This was our winter launch concept which was based on the re-emergence of the rock scene in early 2000’s.

A Common Thread

Back in 2002, I spent a month in Hawaii, late season, staying at the Billabong house at Backyards and hanging out with @Ian.walsh @darieuslegg and filming every day with @anders_carlson_
 
Later that year Andy, Ian and Darius came over to SA and stayed with me. We had an absolute blast.
 
After a month in SA he traveled with @travislogie and I through Europe. This is the movie Andy made over that year and it’s an eclectic mix of humans that all love surfing.

Fountain of Youth

In 2002 my brother, and best mates were lucky enough to spend 2 weeks on the Indies Explorer in the Mentawaii islands. The surf pumped. We travelled south through Thunders, Macaroni’s and HT’s before ending our journey in the Playground.  @jasonhearndop and @alanvangysen were there to document the whole thing.
